Merri ‘s background gives her the incentive and experience to help lawyers speak with confidence.
She is an introvert, like 64% of lawyers. As she grew to understand the value and the challenges of the introvert’s skills and how they impact their professional success, she realized how she could be a trusted resource to help the lawyer who wants to develop their communication skills, focusing on these 3 areas:
- Intrapersonal skills (self-esteem, decision-making, follow-through)
- Interpersonal skills (relationship building, communication, trust, business development)
- Public Speaking skills (content, delivery, connection, influence)
She is an educator. Although lawyers, of all professions, understand interpersonal dynamics, they find it difficult assessing their own impact on others. Merri focuses on the strengths of the professional while helping them break down the barrier patterns that hold them back from using these strengths effectively. She finds power in helping lawyers coach themselves, giving them insight on motivation, influence and communication style.
